Infrastructure Support for Specially Abled Students
Description
UPES is committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment for differently-abled students. The campus has been thoughtfully designed to ensure accessibility, offering a wide range of facilities that enable all students, regardless of their physical abilities, to fully engage in both academic and extracurricular activities.
Key infrastructure features include ramps, wide doorways, and accessible restrooms in all academic buildings, ensuring ease of access for students with mobility impairments. Elevators are available in multi-story buildings, facilitating smooth movement between floors.
The university also provides personalized academic accommodations, including extended exam time, note-taking support, and additional assistance in labs and classrooms. UPES is dedicated to offering guidance, counseling, and academic support to specially-abled students, ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed.
In addition, accessible transportation services and designated parking spaces are available across the campus, ensuring students with mobility challenges can move with ease. Through these initiatives, UPES fosters an inclusive and supportive academic environment for all students.
