Dr. Himanshi Jangir, an Assistant Professor at the School of Health Sciences and Technology, UPES, has been honored with the Sree Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Research Grants 2024 for Agriculture, established by the Sree Padmavathi Venkateswara Foundation (Sree PVF) in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Her project, titled “A Novel Eco-Friendly Nano-Agriculture Strategy for Small-Marginal Farmers of Higher Himalayas: A Nano-Pyrite Based Seed/Root/Shoot Treatment Approach for Improving Potato Yield and Dairy Green Fodder Production,” aims to enhance agricultural practices in the Higher Himalayas. The Sree PVF foundation will provide funding support of INR 47,96,000 over a two-year period.
