Dr. Neha Jain

Dr. Neha Jain is an Assistant Professor of Economics with extensive expertise in international economics and sustainable development. Her research encompasses a broad spectrum of topics, including international trade, trade openness, sustainability, and environmental quality. In her teaching role, she offers courses on business environment, global context for business, and various aspects of economics, reflecting her diverse academic interests. Dr. Jain is dedicated to exploring the intersections between economic policies and global challenges, striving to enhance understanding and contribute solutions in her fields of specialization.

Before joining UPES, Dr. Jain was at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, Pilani campus, held a teaching assistant position at the Department of Economics and Finance while pursuing PhD. She also worked as a guest faculty in the Department of Management, Banasthali Vidyapith.

Prof. Jain’s teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that education should be both engaging and transformative. Prof. Jain teaches the business environment, global context for business, Law and economics, and principles of economics.

Prof. Jain received the fellowship for doctoral program from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, Pilani Campus. She has also received the ‘Best paper’ award in the conferences.

Prof. Jain’s scholarly activities are marked by her active engagement in advancing economic research and education. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on topics like international trade, sustainability, and environmental quality. Her research is frequently presented at national and international conferences, reflecting her commitment to contributing to global economic discussions. Her involvement in organizing and participating in workshops and seminars highlights her dedication to fostering academic dialogue. Dr Jain’s commitment to professional development and public engagement enriches her teaching and supports the broader academic community.
