Dr. Neeti Misra

Neeti Misra is an Assistant Professor-SG, Global Economics & Finance Cluster, School of Business, UPES with a strong foundation in Finance, Banking, Insurance, AI, Blockchain Technology & Financial technologies, Sustainability. She is M.Com, MBA from HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar, Garhwal. She earned Doctorate from University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Her research focus on exploring various facets of Finance, Sustainable Finance, Blockchain & other Financial Technologies. 

Before joining UPES in December 2024, Dr. Neeti Misra has over 8 years of academic experience at Uttaranchal University, Dehradun and 16 Years of abroad Corporate Experience, She is Academician, Researcher, Financial advisor and a corporate, worked Internationally at Growmore General Trading Company, Kuwait, an International Trading company as a Senior Buyer, at HSBC Bank and American University of Dubai, UAE. Also associated with AMFI,  NCDEX,  ASSOCHAM, SEBI as active Speaker. 

Neeti Misra research interests centre around various aspects of Finance, Sustainable Finance, Blockchain & other Financial Technologies. She has published papers in Scopus indexed and ABDC ranked journals including International Journal on Recent and Innovation Trends in Computing and Communication, International Research Journal of Multidisciplinary Scope, Korea Review of International Studies, IEEE and Web of Science Journals. 

Dr. Neeti Misra’s teaching philosophy is centered on creating an engaging and transformative learning experience for her students. She believes that education extends beyond the mere acquisition of knowledge, it is about cultivating critical thinking, fostering a passion for lifelong learning, and encouraging personal growth. Her teaching methodology incorporates case studies, business quizzes, presentations, live projects, videos, and interactive discussions, ensuring a dynamic and immersive learning environment. Dr. Misra finds teaching to be an incredibly rewarding experience and considers herself a lifelong learner, instilling the same mindset in her students.
