Rangan Raj Ghosh, a trailblazing student innovator, has founded Usenseon Labs Pvt. Ltd., a deep-tech startup that is revolutionizing laboratory safety and efficiency. His flagship innovation—a Smart Reagent Cap—is designed to fit standard laboratory bottles and uses non-contact sensing and IoT technology to monitor reagent levels, temperature, and humidity in real time.
In recognition of his pioneering work, Rangan was awarded the Young Innovator Award, receiving a cash prize of ₹25,000. His startup also received ₹3 lakh in funding through the MeitY GENESIS program and an additional ₹1 lakh in investor support. Currently incubated, the startup has filed a patent for the innovation, signaling a major step toward commercialization.
