Regional Workshop on Competition Law in Collaboration with CCI

On April 28, 2025, the School of Law, UPES, in collaboration with the Competition Commission of India (CCI), successfully hosted the Regional Workshop on Competition Law. The workshop brought together legal experts, academicians, and students to explore the evolving dynamics of competition law in India.

The event began with a powerful Keynote Address by Smt. Ravneet Kaur, Chairperson, CCI, who emphasized the importance of fair competition in driving economic growth and protecting consumer interests.

• “Recent Amendments to Competition Law”  by Ms. Neha Raj, Joint Director (Law), CCI 

The workshop concluded with an engaging Q&A session, allowing participants to interact directly with the experts and gain clarity on key legal provisions and their real-world application.

The objective of the workshop was to enhance awareness and understanding of India’s competition law regime, especially in light of recent legislative changes. It aimed to equip students and professionals with the tools needed to analyze market practices and promote healthy competition.
