Gurunadh Velidi's work involves a detailed analysis of jet flames, exploring the intricacies of combustion processes to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Gurunadh Velidi has received the prestigious Best Mentor Award from the Singapore Space and Technology Association, a recognition that underscores his exceptional contributions to mentorship in the field. Dr. Gurunadh Velidi has been awarded the prestigious SERB SIRE (Science and Engineering Research Board - Scheme for International Research Endeavour) Fellowship by the Government of India.
